Granny’s Marzetti

1 lb. ground beef

1 medium onion chopped

1 12oz. package noodles

1 can rotel tomatoes

1 can whole peeled tomatoes

1 large can of mushrooms

shredded cheddar cheese

Lawry’s Season Salt

Salt

Pepper

Tabasco

Worcestershire

Brown onions and ground beef in a large skillet with Lawry’s season salt, salt, pepper, Tabasco and worcestershire.  Add the cans of Rotel tomatoes, whole peeled tomatoes and mushrooms. 

Boil and drain noodles, then run under cool water.  Add noodles to skillet mixture.

Spoon mixture into large Pyrex dish and cover with grated cheddar cheese. 

Bake in oven at 350 degrees for 45 minutes until casserole begins to bubble.  Let the casserole bubble hard!

This is an old family recipe that is loved by many.  It can be made ahead of time and frozen.  It is a great entrée to serve a large number of people and works well for any occasion!
